From July 28 to August 1, 2025, led by the Student Affairs Department of College of Smart Energy, a practice group consisting of 11 students from the college, Zeng Meirong (Director of the College's Student Innovation Center), and Xu Xinxing (Director of the College's Student Affairs Department) went to SPIC Wuling Power Co., Ltd. to conduct industry research. By visiting the headquarters of Wuling Power Co., Ltd., Wuqiangxi Hydroelectric Power Station, Xiangzhong Maintenance and Inspection Center, and Longshan Wind Farm on-site, the teacher-student team were able to experience the role of sustainable hydropower in flexible energy systems at first hand.
